Celeb girl crush: Jessica Szohr

Jessica, co-star in my favourite show-I-watch-in-secret Gossip Girl, is someone whose on and off camera style I have always admired. She always looks pretty, true to herself in outfits that don’t seem forced or extremely styled.

Her perfectly imperfect hair (which for some reason gets her lots of girl-on-girl hate) is a something I totally admire, as I have yet to feel the need to dedicate the kind of time and energy needed for blown out and sprayed perfection, especially as a black girl whose relaxed hair would rather be ‘kinky straight’ than ’silky straight’, Jessica who is mixed race probably gets this too… In fact, most of her downtime with Ed pictures involve scarves and bandanas so I’m pretty sure she does.

Jessica is 24 year old, and was a full time model before she began acting. Szohr has had appearances in many TV shows including: Somebody Help Me, CSI: Miami, House at the End of the Drive, The Reading Room, That’s So Raven, Joan of Arcadia, Drake & Josh, What I Like About You, Uncle Nino and My Wife And Kids, as well as acting in the video, “Over You,” by Daughtry. Her current permanent role is as Vanessa on Gossip Girl. She is also best friends with Rumer Willis.
